Vector Aerospace receives OEM quality award

Richmond, BC -- Vector Aerospace Helicopter Services-North America (Vector – www.vectoraerospace.com), one of the world’s leading independent providers of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services was awarded the Rolls-Royce Model 250 Total Quality Award for 2009 during the Rolls Royce AMC Awards banquet held on February 20th; held in conjunction with Heli-Expo 2010 in Houston, Texas.

Vector received the honor for its ongoing ability to provide Rolls-Royce Model 250 engine customers the very highest standards of quality and reliability.

Steve Walford, Vice-President of Customer Service and Engineering remarks: “I am very pleased the Vector team is being recognized for its work with the Rolls-Royce model 250 engine. We consider it an honor to work with an Original Equipment Manufacturer like Rolls-Royce in supporting our customers with a superior product; backed by the industry-leading technical service and customer support that Vector provides.” Walford emphasizes that in a highly competitive market such as the helicopter MRO industry, this accomplishment could only have been achieved through the implementation of a Continuous Improvement Program such as the one utilized by Vector, which incorporates full-time personnel that are dedicated to managing and evolving the program in order to enhance performance and quality.

As an industry-leader in the Rolls Royce model 250 repair and overhaul market, Vector has received multiple awards at the annual Rolls Royce AMC Awards event; having received recognition in various performance categories in eight of the last nine years.
