OSI Geospatial achieves formal-type approval against the NATO WECDIS STANAG 4564 Edition 2

OTTAWA, Aug. 26 - OSI Geospatial Inc. announced today that its International Systems Operations has achieved formal-type approval from Germanischer Lloyd for its ECPINS(R) software against the NATO STANAG 4564 Edition 2 for Warship Electronic Chart and Information Display Systems.

"This very important milestone is a unique event as ECPINS is the only software to have achieved a third-party formal assessment by a Notified Body. OSI Geospatial is now able to provide evidence through independent means that our software meets the stringent NATO WECDIS requirements, a statement or fact that no other manufacturer can make," said Ken Kirkpatrick, President and CEO.
