BAE supporting military families

BAE Systems presented retired Lt. Gen. Bill Leach with a US $10,000 cheque for the Canadian Military Families Fund during CANSEC 2009. Leach, a former Chief of Land Staff, accepted the donation from Greg Bilhartz, BAE Systems FMTV Canada program manager, and Alan Garwood, the company’s group business development director.

The money will be used by the fund to assist military families who are faced with unforeseen and immediate needs that have resulted due to military service. MFF donated $190,000 to military families from April 1, 2007 to March 31, 2008.
