NGRAIN makes Ottawa move
With business for its unique task training software soaring, Vancouver-based NGRAIN announced at CANSEC that it would open an Ottawa regional office.
The Ottawa office, to be led by Gabe Batstone, vice president of sales and business development, will include project management, instructional design, 3D modeling and customer support professionals, and will also provide support to NGRAIN’s east coast clients.
CEO Paul Lindahl called the move into the Ottawa community a “natural next step in our corporate expansion.”
The company claims over 300 percent growth in the past year, led primarily by its flagship commercial-off-the-shelf software application, the Virtual Task Trainer. NGRAIN is providing technicians in a wide range of CF programs with virtual task training, including the CC-130 Hercules, the CP-140 Aurora, the Eight Air Communications and Controls Squadron for the Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT), the CC-115 Buffalo, the CF Naval Engines, and the CF-18 Hornet.
