Dr. Adam Chowaniec named to OSI board
Dr. Adam Chowaniec, an Ottawa tech executive, was elected to the board of directors of OSI Geospatial on May 28th.
Chowaniec, the founding CEO of Tundra Semiconductor, currently serves as the company’s chairman of the board. He also sits on boards of directors for Zarlink and BelAir Networks and is an executive in residence at Vengrowth Capital Partners Inc.
Chowaniec is a past chair of the Information Technology Association of Canada and the Ontario Research and Innovation Council. He was also appointed to the Natural Sciences and Engineering Council of Canada by the Privy Council of Canada. He has held key positions with Bell Northern Research and Commodore International, where he was responsible for launching the Amiga personal computer.
